After the horrendous on/off stop/start last twelve months, it looks as if, with the successful vaccination rollout, there might be light to be seen at the end of the tunnel. Although the restrictions still in place won’t make it easy, a pathway to some sort of normality is emerging.
We are delighted to be able to open up our outside areas from Monday 12 noon April 12th (phase 1 rule of 6), and if that goes to plan, to invite you back inside from May 17th (phase 2 rule of 6). Again, if all goes well, most restrictions should be lifted by June 21st (phase 3).
Our new Spring/Summer menu is now here on our website and this will be available as soon as we re-open. To keep a handle on the outside bookings in phase 1, we have temporarily disabled our online booking system and would ask you to make dining reservations by telephone on 01226 792795
or requests by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
or via our Facebook message service. We are only taking dining
reservations outside and tables can be reserved in our 2 marquee areas. All other outside tables are not pre-bookable and are available for dining or drinking on a first come/first served basis.
Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed for the weather, but if last April is anything to go by, it could be very good which is no less than we all deserve.
As I said, it’s not ideal but it is what it is, and we will do all in our power to help make your visit to us as special as we can.
We’ve all earned the right to get out and to get our lives back, and so we look forward to welcoming you ‘home’ to the Spencers just as soon as we can.
