Meet our new King of the Kitchen, Russell Mountford, Head Chef

Russell grew up in Shropshire. The countryside and flavours have always been close to him. Moving to Yorkshire gave him the same feeling and excitement he got when he was younger. He's looking to keep our classic style British food but with his own spin. Having trained in rosette kitchens and travelling in Europe and Australia he will also be bringing his experience of international cuisine to our classic English dishes. His favourite time of year for produce is Spring, with all the fresh, light flavours, so we are really excited to see how he develops our menu during 2018!

Lamb Shank

Lamb Shank braised in vina arroba and Spencer's garden herbs, burnt onion mash & honey glazed roasted vegetables...yum!

Steak Bavette

Steak Bavette, a highly flavoured French cut of beef, only served medium rare, served with truffle chips, rocket and parmesan salad and peppercorn sauce.

Dark Chocolate Brownie

Bakewell Tart

Rasberry Bakewell served with Rasberry gel, Raspberry dust and Rasberry sorbet. Heaven on a plate.
